A large majority of our faculty have a master’s degree in Education or in the subjects they teach. This level of education is required by the French Ministry of Education.
Our teachers come from France, India, the UK, Mauritius, and Tunisia.
They are selected based on their diplomas and professional backgrounds. Teachers with experience in the AEFE network are highly valued, as teaching in a French international school requires specific expertise. One third of our teachers receive training each year by participating in AEFE training sessions organized in the AEFE Asia Zone.
Most of our new teachers have previously worked in the French educational system, and we expect them to be familiar with the regulations and curriculum of the French system. New non-French teachers are guided by the head of the primary or secondary school to understand the specificities of the French educational system. They are given priority for participation in AEFE training courses.
