Children’s Wellbeing

Safety & Security

In adherence to our commitment to safety, LFID has implemented strict measures to ensure the well-being of our school community.

Parents, guardians, staff, and students are issued badges to facilitate easy access to the school premises. This involves a double-door security check, overseen by the French embassy, aimed at strengthening the security infrastructure. ID cards are indispensable for entry, playing a crucial role in fostering a secure environment.

LFID also conducts periodic fire safety drills to ensure students are well-prepared for any unforeseen circumstances, contributing to a proactive approach to safety within our school community.

Student Health and Safety Commitment: LFID's Standards and Care Practices

The LFID upholds high standards when it comes to the health and safety of its students. There is an infirmary open without interruption during school hours, and the nurse is trained by the school doctor to care for children. Special attention is provided to children with chronic health conditions, such as asthma and allergies, as they benefit from special follow-ups. In terms of healthcare, and as part of their duty of care, the LFID has a transparency policy and the parents are duly informed of the condition of their children during school hours.

Comprehensive Medical Services

The medical services at LFID relies on the skills of an Indian nurse and a French medical supervisor. The infirmary is located in the ground floor, next to accounting services and the playground of kindergarten.

Student Health and Safety Commitment: LFID's Standards and Care Practices

The LFID infirmary provides a basic intervention service in case of accidents and benign complaints that can be evidenced during school hours. For medical emergencies, the school has a contract with an ambulance service.
