In middle school, career exploration activities from 7th to 9th grade primarily involve interactions with professionals at the school or in their workplaces. The school’s mission and partnerships emphasize learning about oneself, discovering new interests, and envisioning one’s path in the economic and professional world.
The goal is to provide students with the same level of knowledge about careers, their developments, and the corresponding educational paths. Understanding careers, the ability to navigate and continue learning throughout life are fundamental skills to be fully autonomous in a constantly evolving professional world. This comprehensive process enables students to develop their orientation skills, broaden their horizons, and elevate their academic and professional ambitions, fostering more diverse and informed choices.
In high school, developing an orientation project involves collaborative efforts throughout secondary education with teachers and the guidance counselor, focusing on three main axes: Self-awareness, Discovery of the professional world, and Understanding educational paths.
Mandatory individual orientation interviews for students from grades 11 to 12 conducted by their class teacher as part of the Personalized Support program.
Careers Fair – organized every two years by LFID, bringing together numerous professionals presenting their work.
LFID can rely on the expertise of AEFE network guidance counselors and alumni accessible through the AGORA Monde platform.
